What you are getting

Six food-grade silicone spatulas plus a silicone brush, in a range of sizes, with hanging holes in the handles.

Seven dollars, and the lowest price per piece bar one

$1.17 a piece. Only Umite Chef’s 33-piece set beats it, at $0.75.

That is for spatulas, though — not a full utensil set. There is no ladle, no pasta server, no tongs, no slotted turner. If you want those, the 10, 12 and 33-piece sets on this shelf are a different purchase.

The heat claim, read carefully

“can withstand temperatures up to 600 °F”

The highest figure on this shelf, by 120 °F — and worth treating with care.

All seven listings here publish a temperature, and they cluster: 446 °F (230 °C) on Umite Chef, AOTHOD and oannao, 480 °F on HENKELIVING, 392 °F on Pranski.

Food-grade silicone is commonly rated to 220–260 °C (428 to 500 °F), and 600 °F is 316 °C (601 °F) — above that range. For scraping a bowl or folding a batter it is irrelevant. For leaving a spatula resting in a hot pan, take the 446 °F cluster as the realistic guide.

And the only warranty on this shelf

Our team provides a 12-month after-sales service. Six other listings publish none.

What is not published

No stainless steel core — four sets here state one, and a spatula with no core flexes under load. No weight per piece; the set is 295 g. No piece dimensions.

The questions that come in

Is 600 °F realistic?

It is the highest figure on this shelf and above the usual range, so treat it as a headline rather than a working limit. All seven listings here publish a temperature, and they cluster well below it: 446 °F (230 °C) on Umite Chef, AOTHOD and oannao, 480 °F on HENKELIVING, and 392 °F (200 °C) on Pranski. Food-grade silicone is commonly rated to 220–260 °C (428 to 500 °F), and 600 °F is 316 °C (601 °F). In practice none of this matters for the jobs a spatula actually does — scraping a bowl, folding a batter, turning an egg — because the utensil is in and out of the heat. Where it would matter is leaving one resting in a hot dry pan, and for that the 446 °F figure is the one to plan around whichever set you buy.

Why does the missing steel core matter?

Because silicone on its own bends, and a spatula that bends cannot lift. Four of the seven sets on this shelf state a stainless steel core: Umite Chef has a "one-piece stainless steel core... to keep the spatulas from bending", oannao a "reinforced stainless steel core", AOTHOD steel reinforcement so they "never warp", and BESTZMWK publishes the grade — "top-grade 304 stainless steel" handles. This set states none. For scraping and folding, which is what a spatula set is mostly for, that is fine and the flexibility is an advantage. For lifting — a fried egg, a fish fillet, a stack of pancakes — a coreless silicone turner flexes and the food folds. If lifting is what you want, buy a cored set.

Is a spatula set enough?

It depends what you cook, and this is honestly a baking set rather than a cooking set. Six spatulas and a brush covers scraping bowls, leveling batter, folding, buttering tins and glazing. What it does not cover is everything the bigger sets on this shelf include: Pranski’s 12 pieces add a ladle, a pasta fork, a slotted spoon, tongs, a whisk and a slotted turner; HENKELIVING’s 10 add a soup ladle and a pasta server; the two 33-piece sets add nearly everything. Those start at $16.99. So if this is replacing a drawer full of mismatched tools, go bigger. If it is sitting alongside tools you already own and you want silicone for the non-stick pans, six spatulas at $6.99 is the sensible buy.
