A pressure vessel: read the manual, and replace the gasket · review
WMF Perfect One Pot 4.5 L review
The only cooker here that publishes its actual cooking temperatures: 110 °C (230 °F) for the gentle setting and 119 °C (246 °F) for the intensive one, with a large cooking signal and a removable lid handle.
What we would actually buy Publishing 110 °C (230 °F) and 119 °C (246 °F) rather than "two settings" is the most useful thing any cooker listing here does.
What you are getting
A 4.5 liter Cromargan 18/10 pressure cooker, Ø 22 cm (8.7 in), with two settings — a gentle 110 °C (230 °F) for vegetables and fish and an intensive 119 °C (246 °F) — an extra-large cooking signal and a removable lid handle.
The temperatures
Published, in degrees. Every other cooker here says “two settings” and leaves you to find out what they mean. Knowing that the gentle setting is 110 °C (230 °F) tells you immediately that it will not turn fish to paste.
The signal
Large enough to read from across a kitchen, which is the point: a cooker that has reached pressure needs the heat turned down promptly, and a small indicator gets missed.
The size
4.5 liters suits two to four. For a family braise or a batch of stock, the 6 liter cookers in this hub are the better fit.

The questions that come in
Why publish temperatures rather than pressures?
Because temperature is what cooks the food, and it is the figure a cook can reason about. 110 °C (230 °F) is gentle enough for fish and vegetables; 119 °C (246 °F) is where meat and pulses come apart quickly.
Why does a removable lid handle matter?
A pressure cooker lid holds a valve, a gasket and a signal mechanism, all of which need cleaning. A removable handle is what makes reaching them practical.
Our score
8.1/ 10
Publishing 110 °C (230 °F) and 119 °C (246 °F) rather than "two settings" is the most useful thing any cooker listing here does.
This one against the other cookware and knives
Close prices, same category: comparable cookware and knives. We keep only the specifications all of them publish, because a column with gaps compares nothing.
Specifications: the manufacturer sheet for cookware and kitchen knives and the matching Amazon product page. Prices and availability: Keepa. Every figure on this page names its source.
18 cm (7.1 in) · 18/10 stainless · 1.0 mm (0.04 in) wall, 5.0 mm (0.20 in) total base · automatic pressure regulation · safety valve and lid-rim relief · TÜV tested
The only cooker here that publishes its wall and base thicknesses — 1.0 mm (0.04 in) and 5.0 mm (0.20 in) — with automatic pressure regulation, a safety valve, lid-rim relief and a stated TÜV test.
Best for: One or two people, and anyone who wants the construction figures published.
A stainless cooker sold on its mechanisms rather than its numbers: a shielded safety valve, a pressure-locked lid, and a gasket the maker states is long-lasting.
Best for: Someone who knows the brand and wants the mechanism rather than a specification sheet.
