Two knives and a board set.
The knives
A 20 cm serrated bread knife and a 20 cm chef’s knife, both in German knife steel, the chef’s knife with an acacia handle. The bread knife is stated rust resistant and recommended for tomatoes as well as crust — which is what a serrated edge is genuinely good at.
The boards
Three at 32 × 22 × 0.7 cm in three greys, with anti-slip nubs, a rubberised grip, a stand and dishwasher safety. Colour coding is the practical part: it is how raw meat and salad stop sharing a surface.
Where it is ordinary
“German knife steel” is a description rather than a designation. The brands above it in the knife hubs name an alloy — 1.4116, 10Cr15MoV, X55CrMo14 — and this one does not.
The one to look at first
The three-board set, for the colour coding and the published thickness.
