What we would actually buy Semi-serrated at 15° is the intelligent compromise in this category, and it is the only set here that publishes the angle.
What you are getting
Six steak knives in 10Cr15CoMoV carbon steel with a semi-serrated edge stated at 15°, on natural pakkawood handles.
Semi-serrated, and why it is the sensible answer
Full serrations tear and never need sharpening. Straight edges cut cleanly and do. A semi-serrated edge starts the cut through a crust on the serrated section and finishes it cleanly on the plain one, which is what a steak actually needs.
The published angle
15° per side — keener than the European convention and unusual to see stated at all on a steak knife. It is why these cut noticeably more cleanly than the serrated sets below.
The handles
Pakkawood: wood impregnated with resin. It survives a kitchen far better than olive or beech, and it still belongs out of the dishwasher.

What we rate, and what we do not

Semi-serrated: some of the maintenance-free benefit, most of the clean cut
Pakkawood handles, which tolerate a kitchen far better than plain wood
Compromises
The most expensive set in this hub
Semi-serrated edges are harder to sharpen than plain ones and easier than full serrations
No hardness figure despite naming the steel

The questions that come in
What is a semi-serrated edge?
Part of the edge is serrated and part is plain. The serrations start the cut through a crust; the plain section slices cleanly. It is a genuine middle rather than a marketing word.
Can semi-serrated edges be sharpened?
The plain section, yes, like any straight edge. The serrated portion needs a tapered rod. Most households simply use them until they dull, which takes years.

This one against the other cookware and knives
Close prices, same category: comparable cookware and knives. We keep only the specifications all of them publish, because a column with gaps compares nothing.
Amazon reports what buyers took in the month before this page was last checked: at least 300.
The figure is a floor, rounded by Amazon, and read through Keepa — it says what buyers picked, not what a maker claims.
