What we would actually buy The best-sized pot in this hub, and the only one that separates the pot’s oven limit from the lid’s.
What you are getting
A 7.6 liter heavy stainless stockpot with an aluminum-core base, riveted side handles and a glass lid, stated oven safe to 260 °C (500 °F) without the lid.
The oven figure, stated properly
260 °C (500 °F) for the pot, explicitly excluding the lid. That distinction is exactly what other listings blur, and it is what tells you whether the pot can braise in an oven — it can, uncovered or with foil.
The size
7.6 liters is the everyday stockpot size: a stock, a large soup, pasta for six. Bigger pots take longer to heat and are harder to store, and most households use them twice a year.
What is missing
Base thickness, and any figure for the lid. Both matter, and neither appears.
Availability
On sale at around $48 on the American Amazon store at the time of checking.

The questions that come in
Why does the oven figure exclude the lid?
Because tempered glass and its knob have their own, lower limit. Amazon Basics states 260 °C (500 °F) for the pot alone, which is the honest way to publish it.
Is 7.6 liters enough for stock?
For a chicken carcass and vegetables covered with water, comfortably. Bigger pots dilute rather than concentrate, because the liquid has to be reduced afterwards anyway.
Our score
7.8/ 10
The best-sized pot in this hub, and the only one that separates the pot’s oven limit from the lid’s.
This one against the other cookware and knives
Close prices, same category: comparable cookware and knives. We keep only the specifications all of them publish, because a column with gaps compares nothing.
Amazon reports what buyers took in the month before this page was last checked: at least 1,000.
The figure is a floor, rounded by Amazon, and read through Keepa — it says what buyers picked, not what a maker claims.
