What you are getting

A 58 x 24 x 45 inch cover in lightweight oxford cloth with a waterproof PVC coating, closed with an adjustable drawstring, for the lowest price on this shelf.

Fourteen cents an inch

The cheapest cover here by a wide margin. Three covers on this shelf measure 58 inches: this at $7.99, VIBOOS at $12.99, and COMFY LIME at $32.99 for exactly the same 58 x 24 x 45 inches.

What the $25 buys elsewhere

COMFY LIME publishes 600D fabric and a 3-year limited warranty. This publishes neither — “lightweight yet sturdy oxford” names no weight, and no warranty is stated.

What it does publish

High-density double line stitching. That is worth something, because seams are where covers fail before fabric does — every stitch is a needle hole through a coated cloth.

Which 58 inches

The cover. It fits a grill up to 58 inches wide, and it names the Weber Spirit models it suits: E-210, E-310, E-315, E-330, E-335, S-315.

Note that SunPatio and Unicook on this shelf use the opposite convention — their cover is two to eight inches wider than the grill it fits.

What is not published

No denier, no warranty, and no air vents, so a warm grill under it keeps its own condensation.

The questions that come in

Is 58 inches the cover or the grill?

The cover, and it fits a grill up to 58 inches — which is the convention that collides with the other one on this shelf. iCOVER and VIBOOS both measure 58 inches and both say "up to 58″ wide". But SunPatio sells a 55-inch cover "for most grills in width from 48″ to 53″", and Unicook a 65-inch cover for grills "between 57″ and 63″" — both leaving two to eight inches of allowance. So a 58-inch grill fits this cover exactly, while the same grill under SunPatio’s convention would want a 60 to 63 inch cover. Measure your grill, then read which convention the listing uses before ordering. VIBOOS publishes the most useful rule: width plus depth no more than 80 inches.

What does the $25 difference buy against COMFY LIME?

A published fabric weight and a warranty. Three covers on this shelf measure 58 inches: this at $7.99, VIBOOS at $12.99 and COMFY LIME at $32.99. COMFY LIME publishes 600D fabric and a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects; this publishes neither — "lightweight yet sturdy oxford material with waterproof PVC coating" names no weight. What this does publish that COMFY LIME does not is high-density double line stitching, and seams are where covers usually go first. At four times the price the warranty is the real difference, and on a product that sits in UV all year it is the only figure that speaks to lifespan.

Will it blow off?

It has one defense where some covers here have two. The closure is an adjustable drawstring at the hem, which pulls the skirt in under the grill and is genuinely effective — a cover that cannot billow cannot lift. What it lacks is side straps, which the ZHSX, SunPatio, Tuyeho, YWWQYBYQ, Unicook and Simple Houseware covers all have, and which hold the body of the cover against the grill rather than only its hem. VIBOOS, at $12.99, is the only cover on this shelf with both. If the grill stands in an exposed spot, the five dollars is worth it. Unicook makes the other argument: its mesh air vents let wind through rather than under, which it says also stops the cover lifting.
